Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using FaithOS (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
Description of Service
FaithOS is a mobile application and web platform designed to support spiritual growth through scripture, prayer, community features, and AI-powered guidance. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.
Account Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
Subscription and Payments
Free and Premium Plans
FaithOS offers both free and premium subscription plans. Premium features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods, except as required by law or at our discretion.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to the next billing cycle.
User Content
Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share, and otherwise make available certain information, text, or other material ("User Content"). You are responsible for the User Content you post, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.
By posting User Content, you grant us the right to use, modify, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such content on and through the Service. You retain all rights to your User Content, and you are responsible for protecting those rights.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Harass, abuse, or harm another person or group
- Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Transmit viruses or malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
AI Guidance Disclaimer
The AI Spiritual Guidance feature is designed to provide scripture-based reflections and should not be considered a substitute for professional counseling, pastoral care, or medical advice. The responses generated by our AI are based on biblical texts and general spiritual wisdom. For serious personal, mental health, or spiritual matters, we encourage you to seek guidance from qualified professionals and spiritual leaders.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of FaithOS and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so through your account settings or by contacting us.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall FaithOS, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.
Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
